We sell Pheasants Forever Seed!

This mix is designed to meet the "Southern Michigan Pheasant and Monarch Recovery CRP SAFE" CP38E program requirements for the CP2, CP4D, and CP33 conservation practices. It includes 6 species of native grass at 3.5 #s/ac and 16 species of native forbs totaling 2.0 #s/ac. 11 forb species are rated high or very high for monarchs and comprise 66% of the forb seeds and include multiple species per bloom period. There are 2 milkweed species that comprising 1% of the forb seeds in this mix. No one forb species is greater than 15% of the forb mix by weight or exceeds 6 seeds/ft2. Partnering with Pheasants Forever, Calhoun Conservation District can place orders on your behalf to help meet all of your CRP, food plot, and wildlife needs. Mixes contain species specially designed for pheasant and monarch recovery (SAFE mixes) all the way to monocultures of species such as switchgrass for wildlife cover and clover varieties for legume-based food plots.
